About Blank canvas

Blank Canvas started as a hobby and turned into a small business, with orders being shipped pan India. The idea was to create one-of-a-kind customised pieces of fashion, mostly shoes and tees, based on what people wanted. My mother and I would collaborate on conceptualisation and ideation, and I would bring the vision to life. My brother helped with the financial aspect of the business. Blank Canvas operated from 2019-2022, after which I moved to Australia to study.

Blank Canvas was featured on Buzzfeed India, under "21 Indian Queer-Owned Small Businesses on Instagram You Should Bookmark Immediately". We were also featured on multiple LGBTQ+ owned pages on Instagram. Blank Canvas was also featured by Fastrack on their Instagram Page.
